I'm sorry bud, I can't prove it. I looked for about a half an hour and couldn't find a source on the internet. Like I said, I just saw it on the National Geographic Channel, and I'm pretty sure they are a reliable source.I know it's not current, but usually you can at least find a mention of the law somewhere, and I've come up dry so far.
No dude. ... that.. please.. No more. Just read carefully what I say. The entire episode fits in a 30 minutes programming slot on T.V., and what I posted is merely a 1 minute portion of that show where they talk about Cutco. they also talk about Onieda. They also talk about Vitronox and the swiss army knives. The show was the history of knives in general and covered everything from bayonets to butcher knives.EDIT: You trust Cutco marketing? They're not even English! I don't see how they're relevant. If was some dude from Sheffield yammering about the traditions of cutlery, then I could understand.
Ridiculous claims? Like?????VirusType2 you need to shut up because you're talking out of your ass. Either source your ridiculous claims or go away.
This is the knife I have. It is made of black Teflon coated 440 stainless steel, and the handle is made from aircraft grade aluminum.
Thread is now about what knives you guys use.
WWI BRASS HANDLE TRENCH KNIFE. Replica of the World War One 1918 Trench Knife. Measures 11" overall. Features: 6.5" polished blade made from 420 J2 stainless steel, solid brass handle with knuckle guard, with "skull crusher" pommel. Full tang construction. Black metal sheath is included. NEW.
KF0060 . . . . .$24.95 ea.
The girl may very well have problems, or be trying to emulate something she saw on TV.
Oh, let me show you guys a picture of the knife I brought to school.
http://www.knifesearch.com/images/co032.jpg
I just found out what it is:
A replica of course.
I never got my Mom to go to my school and get the knife back from the Principal.
I remember U.S. 1918 written on it and everything.
There is a nut on the end where the blade is attached to the spiked knuckles. The blade is threaded at the end and is held on by the nut. The blade is removable. I remember because I used to just carry around the brass knuckle part.
i think that's pretty handy. it's even got those holes for fingers so it doesn't slip if there's butter all over it.
..ya like in those tv shows where there's a family sitting at the table cutting their food, omg the inhumanity! she learned it from the tv! come on, I'm for more safeguarding but this is ridiculous, she's 10 years old ..do the authorities consider what this arrest and media attetion might do to her? guess that doesnt matter so long as parents think the authorities are doing something to stem the tide of school shootings/vicious knife attacks from 10 yr old girls ..it's an epidemic
OK OK, stop the joking. I know you don't believe that a plastic spork is equivalent to a steak knife? I'm sure the number of accidental lacerations from a McDonald's plastic knife is staggering.wonder if they would have done anything had she been using a plastic knife ..I have a few of those plastic fork/knife/salt/pepper/towelette thbngies in my desk ..dum dum dummmmmm
No, I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a Stephen King movie. Or check out her room and all her dolls are missing heads.
Just because you may (or may not) be sane, doesn't mean everyone else is.
I've met a handful of people that mutilate animals and such. I even know of people that claim to have killed someone before, and they look like you and me. Honestly, there isn't enough information available to us to be able to analyze any further. I say we let the people involved handle it.
It's pretty clear that she didn't mean any harm, but just because I didn't mean any harm when I bring a pocket knife on board a passenger jet, doesn't mean it's acceptable.
Anyway, what ill effects can this attention really have on this poor little 'victim'? You guys act like she will be damaged forever because she was counciled about bringing weapons to school.
So the whole Nation should have heard, "hey, do you know how much trouble you can get into for bringing a knife to school?" And so I guess we should have less incidents right?
OK OK, stop the joking. I know you don't believe that a plastic spork is equivalent to a steak knife? I'm sure the number of accidental lacerations from a McDonald's plastic knife is staggering.
mortality rates involving plastic knives went down dramatically with the introduction of the spork ..however mortality rates for the spork skyrocketed
Reasons for it include:A MORI Survey for the Youth Justice Board found that 29% of Secondary School-children, along with 57% of those excluded admitted to routinely carrying knives. Correspondingly, our Hospitals report a rise in stab wounds
* Fear and/or self-protection/defence.
* To steal, by threats to harm (often to fund a drug habit).
* Harass, intimidate or even for ?kicks?
* Peer pressure.
* To command ?Respect? and status
A knife incident happens every 25 minutes - 4 in 5 offenders aged between 12 years - 20 years and a third of victims aged between 10 years - 17 years!
A 14-year-old boy has been injured with a knife at his Brighton school.
The teenager's hand was cut after the incident in a class at Longhill High School in Rottingdean.
He was taken to hospital but wasn't thought to be seriously hurt and he was later discharged, police said.
Sussex Police said a 13-year-old boy was arrested.
He was released on bail as police continue to investigate.
A spokeswoman for the school, which has about 1,200 pupils, said a craft knife was used.
The stabbing comes about a week after teenager Luke Walmsley, 14, was stabbed to death at his school
A BOY aged 15 was in hospital with knife wounds to the stomach after a stabbing yesterday in a school lavatory. Another boy aged 15 was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after the incident at Stradbroke High School in Stradbroke, near Framlingham, Suffolk. He was being questioned at Bury St Edmunds police station last night.
Steak nives are just sharper normal knives....
That was only one example from the hundreds. I'm fairly certain I could find a case where someone around 10 years old stabbed, cut, or even murdered a classmate. There is a massive difference between a 15year old boy bringing a knife to school and a ten year old little girl.
Come over and try it you little jack-off. I'm bored anyway. PM me if you want to take it there. Otherwise shut your little cocksucker.Moonraker said:VirusType2 : you should probably be stabbed with a butter knife. if you dont know what i mean by that, then you shouldnt be in here.
Moonraker said:hi im new. love half life.
Moonraker said:no you go away.
Hahah that's pretty funny.
Well, I see you don't want to tangle with the Virginia Tech point I made, which was my main argument, hence I put it in bold.
You can't just assume from your telescope that everyone is innocent. That's all I'm saying.
You guys are just as oblivious to reality as much as you think I am.
30% of middle schoolers admitted that they routinely (daily?) carry knives.
That is 1 out of 3 children are armed.
Arrested means to STOP them. It does not lead down a path to hell as some of you seem to think. Besides, a child's record is expunged at 18 years old.
Kids are being killed. It's not just school lunches that are being cut.
Kids can be just as dangerous as adults. First - they are hugely influenced by their peers. Second, they know they will get off easy because they are children. Third, they can be quite foolish.
There are 204,000 articles on the internet concerning incidents just like this one:
Im just imagining this gigantic steak knife and I cant get it out of my head D:
D:
lol. OK that did it for me, I fold. I just picture children flying through the air in all directions from your wild berserker attack.come on .. it's a 10 year old girl ...I could easily take on at least a dozen if not more if neccessary, they weigh next to nothing
lol. OK that did it for me, I fold.
I bet with you on my side we could probably take on .....2 dozen 10 year old school girls

Come over and try it you little jack-off. I'm bored anyway. PM me if you want to take it there. Otherwise shut your little cocksucker.
Here is you:
lol.
LOL i didnt think so.
I think this thread is about done
come on man, be real. I could get tetanus or gangrene or something from a butter knife. I could be maimed. You've got a chance.
