When the first wave came out they gave you an activation key which you could give/sell but they don't do that anymore for that reason. Your best hope now is to opt in and hope like the rest of us.

But I want to opt out. I'd rather let someone else in than have it waste away with me.

Unless you have something important tied to your account, I'd say just give it to someone else, or just change the password and let them borrow it, then change it back whenever you need it.

Otherwise it's stuck.
 
I'm a trustworthy person to give your account and password to.
 
I think that because we have two trustworthy people here (whose trust can be attested to) there should be some sort of determinant for who gets it. Please? :D
 
The 4 people that would want it the most would be Stiggy, Xev, Taviow and Quix.

It's like throwing 1 ham in a cage with 4 starving dogs.....
 
To make it fair, we could do something with a random chance, assuming there is no bias on 6Three's part!

Several people have SC2 avatars. Tav is the only one with an Archon.

Actually a WoW trial isn't enough to let you opt in to the beta.

He would obviously just sell it if he had it in his account.
 
Everybody who wanted to pay for the key already has. They are down to below $200 on ebay, at least :p
 
Well what about the people who were waiting for the price to go down?

SC2 beta key is always worth selling.
 
Q. Will we be able to play with our friends on other continents like we could in StarCraft's Battle.net?

A. Currently we do not have plans to integrate friends between regions for launch. In the long run that's definitely something we'll be looking at.

I have a friend @ Blizz that gave it to me. Selling it would be disgusting.
 
Really starting to get the hang of macro now. Now I start getting excess minerals by the time I have my 4-5 base up. What helped me the most here is just making supply on constant stream. Ending up having no food would pretty much mean that I'd end up with like 800 excess minerals.

Anyone else noticed that people on custom games are terrible? I mean terrible, terrible. I've tried a few 2on2 ladder matches, which are a pain in the ass played with some total random retard. The first game I played I had like 50k resources when the opposing team combined had something like 35k. I really need to get my own invite so I can start playing with my friend. Hate playing with these tards who can't change strategies during the game they just decide "HAY i go hydra" and thats it, thats their tech for the whole 10min they last.
 
Been quite the addict this spring break... cept I always lose. I blame my learning disability.

Alright, since I'm obviously not going to bother playing this anymore(the whole metagame is terrible in matchmaking, consisting of who can build the most zealots/roaches/reapers first), I suppose I'll give someone my account to use. Just no stealing it, cause, you know, I have all my other games on there too.

THANK YOU MAN! Also don't worry I won't steal your stuff, my bnet account already has all the games I need. Err, I wouldn't steal yours even if it didn't, of course.

I'll be around at night as always, and of course I won't annoy you if you change your mind. Just think about this some more, alright?
 
The good news is that Ace already has me as a friend, so we can just jump right into it :p
