I found him a cakewalk, killed him at level 12. It must be an item in my inventory.

I've joined the Dark Brotherhood, and I have gotten the Eliminator rank. :D

me too ...except it took me almost week to get to eliminator ..did you accept the "gift"?

I was a wanted man for assassinating (it was a fake assassination) some count guy when confronted with a guard at a gate as I made my getaway. I fought him to a standstill and just barely killed him when 2 more guards came through the gate and started chasing me. I jumped the fence at the stables hopped on a horse and took off with 2 soldiers in pursuit on foot, as I rounded a bend in the road I ran smack into a a mounted soldier who yelled at me to stop ...I bolted ahead and galloped away as he gave chase ..for the next few minutes I madly dashed through bushes and trees, up hills, over rivers ...I managed to pull 2 wolves, a bear and a swamp monster during my chase but I eventually lost them all ..I headed back on the road and was immediately confronted by a bandit, killed him only to lose my stolen horse and had to walk back to the nearest town

this game is tons of fun, it's something new everytime I play

Only got this the other day, joined fighters guild today so far, escorted Martin and Juaffre to the Cloud Temple and joined the blades. Been a good day so far :) still more to come :D

AHHH FIDDLESTICKS

I have contracted the vampire disease, usually i'd pray at an Altar... But let's just say I am not in good terms with the Nine at the moment.

Is there any other way to cure it before I actually become a vampire!?!?1one

Joined the thieves guild and the mages guild, then got kicked from the mages guild for stealing.

I did the fake death with no problems at all, I have no bounty on me at all at the moment! :D I've done every mission without losing the bonus, it's easy. Warrior was even easier for me, i'll have to take a turn at an un-armoured mage.

Nothing today. I wasn't able to play because of school and studying. Last time I played though, I found a dungeon with a bunch of goblin corpses scattered about. I turned a corner and saw 2 zombies beating up on a goblin and then they came after me. Luckily I have a spell that makes zombies run away from me. There was one zombie that I just couldn't kill. His health just kept regenerating! I was able to get about 524 gold out of one chest though so that made it all worth it.

I'm also looking to buy a house too. I already have that little shack at the Imperial City waterfront but I'm looking for another one in some other city/town. I have around 19000 in gold so far so if anyone has some suggestions as to what other house I should buy, let me know.

Oh, and I hate those trolls!

Who do you talk to for the shack in the Imperial City?

You have to talk to a lady in the Market District. I forgot the name of the business though. I think it's near the stores Slash N' Smash and the armor store.

Office of Imperial Commerce.

Today I explored the Elven Garden Sewers under the Imperial City.

Yesterday I got to the Arcane University and made myself 2 kickass spells (doing basically the same thing; the second takes less than half of the magicka, the first one does, and using them one after another is often lethal):

1. 50dmg frost, 50dmg fire, 50dmg shock
2. 25dmg frost, 25dmg fire, 25dmg shock

When I started killing people afterwards to try it out, a battlemage was down in 2-3 seconds, when I touched him with each spell. Oh, and I noticed that, for example, casting my 1st spell costs less mana than if I made it deal those 150dmg from only one of the "forces".

And then I made myself a Cuirass of the Masochist - 5 dmg from fire on self, constant effect :D

Two questions:

1. What's the difference between chameleon and invisiblity?

25% chameleon for 30sec - 83 magicka
invisibility for 30sec - 85 magicka

2. Someone, a couple of posts earlier, suggested enchanting armor with two effects. How is that possible? I can only enchant my items with one effect.

I guess it's time to finally move on with the main quest. I'm level 18 or 19 and I have only delivered the Amulet :P That's probbaly why I haven't seen any Oblivion gates yet.

RTFM ;)

Invisibility completely conceals you, but breaks if you attack, speak or activate items. Also, people can still hear you.

With chameleon you can attack and use objects without breaking the effect, but it ranges in effectiveness from 1 to 100%, 100% being equivalent to invisibility. And people can still hear you.

I flew up to the Starforge and totally pwnt Darth Malak with Force Storm with help from Jolee and Canderous! :D

...Oh wait.

I completed the first Oblivion Gate and got Martin and that other monk dude to the Cloud Temple. That was pretty cool.

Games awesome fun so far. But its tedious to walk to and from places.

You can always just open the map and click where you want to go.

I got Tiber Septim's Armor from Sancre Tor and headed off to some other huge Ayleid ruin to fetch another big stone.

At current i am lost ... trying to find some stone for that countess ? in Bruma, by following the directions in the translated Journal :( i'm getting a tad worried that ive gone off track as im now near another oblivion portal :(

Edit :: Found the place i had to go, got the madstone (after a long an perilous journey :) ).. took it back to the old hag at Castle Bruma and now i'm trying to find some Vampire Hunter :|

i kinda remember that quest...took awhile to get to the point if my mind serves me correctly

Lots covered recently:

First off, obtained the skeleton key. :D

One thing I tried was - A quest for the count of Leyawin, he wants information on Mazoga (or a name along that line) the Orc, who claims to be a knight. So, you basically wind up in a cave where at the end, you're confronted by a spectral...green...thing.... I dunno what the hell it was. But what it did was crazy, it basically hit me with one spell and had five of attributes draining at once. ;(

So, f*ck that, I went for another quest. Dreamworld. If anyone has done this before or has it listed, it's a quest of cool beans, but your patience will be sorely tested. Literally.

:x thats the quest that cybrman told me to check my difficulty, thats also when i found out the difficulty meter was almost full

I only found the patience trial difficult. The other three weren't too bad. (I'm playing at default difficulty).

It's not nice though.

well, since i went through the most of the first part of the game with the difficulty on full, i decided to try it a half inch from easy. killed guards with one or two hits, turned it to the middle, they almost kill me D:

I don't get how people can be killed in this game... right-click = block, which = win.

well, when you face 3 minotaur lords (arena :O) it gets kinda hard to just block, slash, block, slash etc

If you have never been damaged and/or stunned and then slashed a few times, then you're either lucky or a good character-builder.

I didn't do anything in Oblivion today, because I went through Hell....literally!

Had to get this assignment completed for tomorrow morning. Spent about 7 hours on it today.

People don't realise you can keep the block button held down, till you find an oppurtunity to swing. Either that, or they don't read the manual.
I started of doing this, but now that I am building up my speed and agility, I have started to prance around like a fairy. Shame there is no boxing contest

I got the title of Knight-Errant and a White Stallion Lodge among other things ;) Too bad some people had their stuff disappear from there, so I won't use it as my storage ;|

And while doing the quest for it I took 300 gold (that was supposed to be the payment for some criminal; it was in some Elven ruins) from a container, and even though the hand icon wasn't red, I noticed some time later that it was counted as stolen oO. Now I've got 304 items stolen instead of 4. Stupid bug ruining my stats :P... screw it, I still haven't stolen anything, apart from this gold, and items I had to steal during quests. I'm still a good character, dammit! :)

Doing a thieves guild quest, I cane across a character names Fathis Aren that I'm allowed to kill. Only problem is he's in my way & a member of the mages guild. So, I'm at this tower and surrounded by him and 6 daedra (frost atronarchs, etc) - after eliminating the daedra, I have the problem of how to deal with him. If I kill him, I'm out of the mages guild.

Looking through my inventory, I noticed this large 2h Ebony Warhammer & started thinking. So I ran to the top of the tower with him chasing me. I jumped over him and got behind him & then delivered a series of forward power-attacks, knocking him further and further back until . . .

Lets just say the gravity killed him.

I too am now a Knight-Errant. I also laughed at some guy who got pwned by fish. (Nah, I'm doing that quest too.)

I did loads and loads of one off quests that had been knocking around for ages such as the one where you need to clear the farm of goblins etc.

I also cleared a few Oblivion gates and battled my way through Kvatch.

I was on the way to the Capital to deliver horse armour plans that I found in a dungeon - maybe it gives you new types? I still don't know, cos I got sidetracked by an Oblivion gate.

Unlike with Kvatch, I explored the entire Oblivion plane this time and soaked up the atmos. I discovered that the plane actually adjoined 2 Oblivion gates, one very near to Bravil. Once I took the Sigil stone, I ended up outside the Bravil gate, miles from where I wanted to be. It also only counted as *one* gate shut - CHEATED!

Then I went into Bravil where City-Swimmer got killed by a guard for shoplifting, which is annoying because it seemed like she might be an important character for Thief's Guild stuff.

Vital characters cannot die. They just fall unconcious and then come back to life a couple of minutes later.

I knew that really important characters can't die, but I thought maybe those connected to smaller quests could die...? Didn't someone mention finding the corpse of someone linked to a Dark Brotherhood quest lying in the road? Maybe it was on another site.

Walked into a chapel where Necromancers had killed the priests and where reanimating their corpses, Killed a bunch of Conjureres, Fought some ghost pirates, Went through a ruin of leveled trolls, DLed a mod that adds a wizard's tower that controls the weather, and did alot of Skooma.
