why is everything funnier to me at late night

its so easy for me to be entertained when its around 1am before i goto bed, well technically morning. but ill post in threads around this time, and they seem very funny to me, i think, wow im a funny guy, i bet everyone is loling at my brilliant humor! then i get up in the morning and read them, and they aren't funny at all. but im not deliriously tired or anything. its weird. so why?!

This is all quite real. At LAN parties especially, we have a saying "Everything is funny at four in the morning." Because it is. I was on my knees in my garage, because I tripped over a cat5, so everyone busts up laughing, when I look up (Still on my knees) there's a harry ass wolf spider dangling in front of me. So everyone goes "Eat it!" So I just lurch forward, and chewed and swollow it. Everyone busted up laughing. If it had been at 2pm, everyone would have gone "Ewww!" but it was 4 in the morning. =P
