unfortunately, vac (or any other security system) isnt watertight...
it can't be achieved... once the system has been implemented and people have seen it in action, its inevitable that someone will work out what its doing and find a way around it...
A nice idea, yes... But I'm willing to bet that a feat like that is either physically impossible or the costs are quite prohibitive for any mere mortal.
In any case, I'm certain Valve was well aware of that bottleneck.

actually lamarr has a separate model to the normal headcrab.
if you look closely at it you'll notice that lamarr is missing all the pointy toothy things the other crabs have.
That error message is perfectly real. While I've never seen it in css, that red error occasionally comes up when I'm testing HL2 levels i make.
It appears when i screw up props. So i guess that error.mdl is usually (if not always) related to some kind of model error.

i worked out why some people cant download it from hl2spain. the site checks your HTTP_REFERER tag to in order to stop people from linking to their files from other sites.
anti-virus software such as norton will block your HTTP_REFERER tag, and because of that the site wont let you access the...

A relatively small map designed for no more than 10 players.
My plan was to create a HL2DM map that I actually enjoyed playing on... i find the maps that are out there for HL2DM are just uninspiring when you compare them to maps out for other games.

i checked on my computer and 2 inches is about right for 20.0 sensitivity... so i guess that means your mouse is running normally...
i tried playing on 20 though... it was nuts... if i tried to turn right id do a full spin and end up facing right the second time...
don't know if you know this (i only found it out recently), but when you turn a brush into a displacent brush, you can delete the sides of the brush you dont need.
you select the sides of the brush you dont want in the displacement painter mode, and then click destroy. that way your not...
