He (Breen) probably had the Combine kill the world leaders. Or the Combine did it on their own.
Or he (Breen) could have had a lengthy discussion with the UN and convinced them that since he (Breen) had the most contact with them (the Combine) he could arrange a better deal (a mix of truth...
You mean like the creatures in "Aliens"? From egg to facehugger to baby xenomorph to fully grown xenomorph (in a few hours) to an Alien Queen (if she's lucky)...
Yeah, its better to keep it. Besides, you never know when you'll want to go back to a game you already finished. I think I finished System Shock 2 about 7 times over the past 5 years.... (has it been around that long? correct me if I misremember)
And finished HL2 6 times since I got it...

I'll...
the zombies in the open ravenholm area (the one with the faulty chopping machine) spawn endlessly. i tracked them to their spawn point (a dead-end alley) and killed a zombie i saw there. after i left they kept reappearing
yeah, HL2 was a bit too easy, even on hard mode. The only part that gave me some trouble was the turret defense sequence in Nova Prospekt (the 2nd one, in the jail cells).
Part of the reason it isn't that hard (for me) is that there are lots of healing items and ammo scattered around. Just...
yeah, Gordon would've been just another model for headcrab zombies.
Even Barney made a comment on that when they stormed the Nexus. He had Gordon attack the floor turrets and said "You do it Gordon! you're the one with the HEV suit!" (or something like that)
