Start over from the last point you had the boat. If you spawn a new one, you won't get the upgrade later on.

combine are not human. They're organic (a la gunship, dropship, strider) and powerful. The overwatch is Breen's idea. These guys are trans-human: they most likely have been fused with combine traits of some sort to become soldiers.

combine irifle is the assault rifle. It's secondary fire is really powerful too.

Cranking down settings helps with the stuttering. I get over 100 fps at times in HL2 on medium 1024 and low sound quality, but the stuttering is pretty much gone or very hard to notice.

Poison hc zombies are way too powerful. It's best to use explosive barrels/grenades on them. Any other weapon barely does anything.

You're supposed to open up the path to the ramp by blowing up the barrels inside the back of the red container. Get out of your boat and head behind the wood beams so that you can go inside the container and take a shot at the explosive barrels.
