wtf? firebird doesnt have any spyware or adware.. look at the source yourself.. lol
Appearantly your "friend" has some major problems. Try getting AdAware6 and cleaning that shit up.
Mozilla Firebird is the bestest ever:

Once you get used to it you'll never go back :O There are even IE6 themes for it if you really want the litte buttons :P
I think he's confused on the definition of a wallhack.
A wallhack is a cheat that allows you to see players thru walls. Which is a bad thing.
Shooting thru walls is a feature of a game, not a cheat.
The HL2 source code won't be released.
And porting sounds like a pain in the ass. They would have to port all the Steam client stuff too. Sounds like a lot of work. Have Gearbox do it :P
Ive had enough of these damn threads that have anything to do with the release date.
"I think its gonna be delayed!"
"I think its gonna be on time!"
ffs
Although I'm kinda disappointed of the size of the maps in HL2 and the lack of dynamic loading for seamless level transitions, its important to point out that size doesn't really mean anything. But it does give the mapper more freedom if he/she needs it.
Size doenst matter! :O !
Vivendi is one of the 7 or so companies that owns ALL the media. TV, newspapers, radio, etc, etc. HL2 is less important than a grain of salt to them.
Here's a fun little chart :P

This would be feasible with HL2's setup.. a mod team would have add melting point values for each "material" and then you would need a global and locational temperature entities.. finally, you would need a heat gun to test it out :P
Who cares.. if I shot you in the legs enough times you would eventually die from blood loss. So the game might as well show you "dying" right away instead of waiting a couple hours.
