My first run through HL2 took me about 7 hours not MUCH exploration but i didnt linger around in any area in particular just admiring the view I gawped leaving the station as most people do but still 7 hours. Normal difficulty. the game is hardly challenging! Or am i a liar too?

I doubt they will do the same timeline as HL2 I would expect it to be a prequil leading up to the first meeting with gordon on the rooftop. Or maybe a prequil before that!

the manhacks like most of the combine arsenal I believe are part organic part machine and as such I believe the pipes represent the same type of piping inside the combine citidel (the yellowish pipes that are actually veins if you zoom into them) there in lies your answer

I would of thought the ownership of the map would remain the authors and that the author would just give valve permission to distrobute it. otherwise a crummy visit to valve hq is a bit of a naff prize!

im pretty sure you can transfare your the CD you just contact valve ask them to deregister it. they will probably ask you for proof of ownership like but it should be possible

Personally I really dont like CS I used to love it but once the hacks became wide spread it became to difficult to differentiate between a really skilled player and a cheat. put me off

it could be argued that as it is a mod and therefore not being sold for money that it does not infringe copyright law. but knowing yanks they have a helluva alot of crap laws so its probably illigal in that country to video tape something off the TV

to get the pheropod weapon the slave has to come out the door and open the ant lion... so either you cheated to get the pheropod early or you aint killed the big beasty yet. or you found a very small glitch.. or you have a warez copy. <shrug>

yeah and it was made with lots of saves and suave editing :) speed runs are ace :P

In all honesty it took me a little over 18 hours my first time through and thats 9am day of release to 5am the next day. Yes I am so sad that I played HL2 all day...and night.

whilst you make a convincing argument elf... they have models for people in HL2 deathmatch and that has ragdolls etc... and thus I would of expected could be implimented in a similar fashion... OR if not in the singleplayer game we should be allowed to be godly gordon in the deathmatch at...
