Well you might be able to have an external digital monitor of your hardrive temps. Just check to see if there are any cables on your MoBo that have that kind of output. I don't know if any really do, but it's worth a look.

Yea you should be good in general then. I was afraid you were running either a P4 above 2 Ghz or like a 2800+ AMD, and you're still running PC133 ram which doesn't have the same power drain as DDR, so you should be fine, if you start to get instability though look toward the power source first...

Yea all IDE hard drives spin at the same speed(7200 RPM I think), you might get a faster MB Cache but that's about it. With a speed of loading thing, that's a ram/cpu/system configuration issue. And 15 seconds isn't even all that huge on loading photoshop. What kind of a system are you running?

Yea definately wait, and the only problems you'd probably have with compadibility is if you got an AIW 9800 Pro, because there's a different cable connection. You can get a lot more horse power out of the new generation of cards that are comming out in a couple months for the same money.
