Not the case at all! A huge part of the storage space needed for the game is the size of the textures...I don't know about Chaser, but lots of games use lots of different size textures...This isn't the only other variable, either. There are many more variables than just game length that go...

I think this has been discussed...the general consensus is that WON won't disappear until they're entirely sure Steam can handle it all and they're targeting 2 weeks out for that... I think...

I think Amazon UK does...and a lot of places have the HL2 guidebook coming out 9/23 and most guidebooks are released a week before the game...

I would imagine that when they're ready to have people start downloading the data, they'll give us all the info we need to make a decision to go Steam or wait for retail. That way, they can just get your credit card info for either subscription or the full HL2 download and start sending it...

That's pretty much what I'm thinking too...although, I'm thinking that 4cds is more and more likely. But I'm planning on getting the DVD version, so it doesn't matter too much...:cool:
