If you're under 350 Watts of power and you want to run the newest video cards (5900 ultra) and high powered devices go for it. It's normaly not nessesary, you can get some good case/power supply deals.

I agree, NVIDIA won't be behind long. Hell, they're already making new cards as we speak. I think I'll wait a while and see if the 5900 ultra is worth it.

Drivers not 9.0 I got it all fixed, it was the newest NVIDIA driver. I reinstalled harware and the old driver (came w/ ut2003).

I had a problem with DX 9.0 and my GEForce MX420.

Almost the same as mine, only I have the GEForce Mx420 (ahhh). You won't have any trouble with HL2.

Thats what you get for buying a PC pre-built, let alone a Dell.
