Nice tiling, colors are great. Take a second look at the shanty's on the left side of the barn, think they are a bit to thick. Also the bolds on the edges of the door seem a bit large?
stupid question but... you do have HDR turned on right? otherwise its just the way they lit the map. Cant think of anything else. But color correction seems the most obvious solution. good luck
add some clouds in the front, to give it a sense of depth, and loose the rubble / ships. Maby trying some color difference in the clouds would help, just a thought.

Also, use the ep1 engine for modding. StudioCompiler won't work with Orangebox bin, atleast as far as i know.
Just copy/paste studiocompiler to the sourcesdk/bin/ep1/bin/ folder and add the "-engine ep1" without the quotes to the launch parameters for sourcesdk inside...
YEEY finally got it back to work.
Aparantly it need a gameinfo.txt in the ep1/bin folder itself to run.
Just copy/past the one from half-life 2/hl2 folder and voila! Somehow the latest update removed it or something, whatever!

giving me a "Unable to find Gameinfo.txt" error
It worked 2 days ago, dont know that the **** has been updated.
It's already in the ep1/bin folder, "-engine -ep1" already added to the launch option for source sdk.
Anyone having the some problem?
I'm afraid the lightning preview is one of those tool distracting you from the real mapping itself. But still, really want to see if it gives more contole of the feeling and atmosphere of our levels. Fix the bitch!
