Well Ikerous, it's all a social constructon. In some cultures, it is normal for men to have sex with animals. In ours, it isn't.

If you don't give a damn about our cultural standards, you might as well go have sex with animals. It's also not like you believe in God or that he is going to punish you for having sex with animals, right?

While I do not believe there is somethihg wrong with the sex act itself, I do believe it says a lot about your efficiency as a human being. I'd much rather bang a chick

First off, you're all missing a huge point. Animals DO consent. They can and occasionally are the ones engaging in sexual activity with humans. Of course, this is not the more common activity of "bestialists", but it happens. If you've ever owned a dog, you should know this as a fact. Dogs try to mount humans all the time (generally getting stuck on the leg).

Morality wise: One, besides the first point, animals do NOT have the same rights as humans. They are not conscious, they do not feel complex emotions like humiliation. They will rarely actually feel pain from the act. Anything about 70 lbs plus will be fine with a human partner. As in the example, a cow would not be able to really feel a penis significantly. If the human is female, well, many more "possibilities." but I think most of you have googled for zoophillic pornography before.

As should be obvious, "gross" is not an argument. The most critical argument so far has been safety/spread of disease. Animals have plenty of bacteria and/or virii, and alot of deadly human diseases come from them.

As far as opposing slaughter of animals, well I find that just damn stupid. Humans are omnivores. By depriving yourself of meat, you make yourself weaker. Supplements and such do not help as much as eating the food itself. Animals kill themselves plenty, why shouldn't we kill them too? People die all over the world from starvation, and many people think one of humanity's primary food sources should be removed due to moral reasons. Of course, about 99.9% of these people live in countries where food is plentiful and cheap, so of course it's alright! However, a damn good steak is my favorite food by far, so maybe I'm biased.

Anyway, end anti-vegan/vegetarian rant.
