Games that everyone loved, and you didn't.

Doom 3 and F.E.A.R suck. They get repatative, and their not even scary. The monsters are big, and have loads of fangs and claws. The fact is, they look like Turd thats been in Mircowave next a radiator for a day.

EDIT: That video is Lmao in its purest form.

The sad/funny thing about that video sums up the dialogue and plot pretty well of those parts in MGS .

Halo. No overrated game thread is complete without the king of overrated games. How did this game get >90% in so many reviews? Did the reviewers have memory problems and instantly forget each room once they passed it so they didn't realize that the game was the exact same thing over and over. Unbelievable.

Every RPG except hybrid games. It's all luck and stats based crap. The Final Fantasy games are outstandingly terrible. I hate MMORPGs too.

Don't get me started on that towering pile of steaming, overrated monkeyshit which is called Halo. Sure, it's fun. For about three minutes. Ubersimplistic gameplay, it felt like Tribes with no features or cool points.

I can tell from this you have completely missed everything I love about Halo.

Or it just wasn't there. :p
Halo has it's combat. I can't see how you can just like it over that. There should be so much more to it but there isn't.

I've played HL2 Deathmatch all of once, so I really couldn't compare. Never really play multiplayer on anything.

I hate that your 10,000th post is "Pwnt :E" Samon you are so not epic.

/stress three to go

Halo's and FEAR's combat is great, and it does make up for alot IMO.

I just resent the common assumption that Halo is only popular with people that haven't experienced pc fps - i.e. 'dumb console fanboys'. I've played basically every pc fps since the original Wolfenstein and haven't found one that can match the depth of combat found in Halo, or one that has kept me entertained for 1/10 as long.

Both Halo games had fantastic OUTDOOR combat, the problem was those sequences were few and far between, and the indoor combat was pure ass. You'd think that Bungie would have learned from the first one that no one liked any of that indoor crap like The Library, but noooo, they had to include a second one in Halo 2!

I never really liked the multiplayer either, it was fun to play around and shoot the shit with a few friends at someone's house, or to LAN with, but actually playing online was boring, mainly because the people who were "good" at the game were just people who sat on their asses all day and played. Not to mention there wasn't even a hint of originality in the map design.

that was a joke, i did it on purpose because i couldn't think of a meaningful thing to have my 10,000th post as and i decided it didn't matter anyway :D

Halo MP with friends > *

There is no game I'd rather play right now either already released or coming out than Xbox Halo 1 MP, CTF 1 flag, no radar, instant respawn, 5 minute rounds, 4v4 with my friends in the same room.

Awww you edited it. I liked it better when it was Pwnt. Very Samon.

Which is why I when I replay I usualy do Assault the Control Room and Two Betrails, great levels (and I don't want to hear about them being the same levels, HL2 uses repeated maps from Point Insertion and Anticitizen 1 and the citadel uses similar rooms in different parts). Halo 2 I never replay though, level design along with weak-feeling guns and brutes killed Halo 2 for me.

Couldn't say anything about online but playing with (or against I should say) my brother MP was great (especially since we're about evenly matched at most games, while I can pwn all my friends in FPSs)

Diablo 2, dun like it.
Well it's not so much that I don't like it, but I like Diablo 1 so much better.

I'm going to add DOTA to my list. I don't get why people play the damn game so much, Tower Defenses and Arena matches are a lot more fun. Not to mention it's the only game with a community more elitist than CS.

Oh yeah... I forgot to mention R6: Ravenshield... the best tactical shooter ever!

can't wait for vegas!!!!1111oneone

I loved the first Rainbow Six game (and to a lesser extent, the expansion packs), and I loved...wow...whatever the second game was called, I totally forget for some reason. But for some reason I never got into Raven Sheild.

haha, oops... i just realized that I posted this in the wrong thread. My earlier post was meant to go into the "Games I love, but others didn't" thread...

I r n00b.

HL2 repeats a couple of areas once, that last all of 5 minutes. The copy and paste in Halo lasts for an entire level. Or levels. Assault on the Control room, Two Betrayals, Library, First level and last level, whatever they are called. You really cannot compare.

I love Half-Life, I like Half-Life 2. There, I finally was able to admit that. :(
