Opposing Force
An average, run of the mill shooter with Gearbox syndrome. What is to love about it?

Don't get me started on that towering pile of steaming, overrated monkeyshit which is called Halo. Sure, it's fun. For about three minutes. Ubersimplistic gameplay, it felt like Tribes with no features or cool points.
Or it just wasn't there.
Halo has it's combat. I can't see how you can just like it over that. There should be so much more to it but there isn't.
That's a lie! A goddamned lie!10,000? I had no diddly idea!
Halo's and FEAR's combat is great, and it does make up for alot IMO.

Oh shit, this is my ten thousandth too. DAMN YOU!
Halo MP with friends > *
Which is why I when I replay I usualy do Assault the Control Room and Two Betrails, great levels (and I don't want to hear about them being the same levels, HL2 uses repeated maps from Point Insertion and Anticitizen 1 and the citadel uses similar rooms in different parts). Halo 2 I never replay though, level design along with weak-feeling guns and brutes killed Halo 2 for me.Both Halo games had fantastic OUTDOOR combat, the problem was those sequences were few and far between, and the indoor combat was pure ass. You'd think that Bungie would have learned from the first one that no one liked any of that indoor crap like The Library, but noooo, they had to include a second one in Halo 2!
Couldn't say anything about online but playing with (or against I should say) my brother MP was great (especially since we're about evenly matched at most games, while I can pwn all my friends in FPSs)I never really liked the multiplayer either, it was fun to play around and shoot the shit with a few friends at someone's house, or to LAN with, but actually playing online was boring, mainly because the people who were "good" at the game were just people who sat on their asses all day and played. Not to mention there wasn't even a hint of originality in the map design.
