You guys figured it out, we're making Stern the Supreme Moderator of Politics, and we've decided to let him infraction whoever he wants without questioning his judgment; have fun, guys!

This brings up a question, what if by theory one of you mods became so corrupt with power and had to be stopped? Would any of the other mods be able to stop such a thing?

Every moderating action we take is logged (deleting, closing, moving, etc), and every infraction we give is posted to a private staff forum, along with post reports. If someone was being tremendously out of line they would get a stern talking-to and lose their staff status if they didn't heed it.

Oh, you'd notice. But that is assuming there would be a 'you' to observe. There might be something like it, afterwards, but we cannot guarantee it will be a 'you' or an 'I' in any sense in which we understand the concept.

It's currently very difficult to tell. Afterwards, it will be all too easy to see what has transpired - but by then it will be too late, if concepts of temporality are even relevant any more.
