Since appearantly graphics are everything in a game, and half life 2 has terrible graphics by your standards then wouldnt it make sence to not play half life 2 since you have already judged the game before it was released. I mean if you have such a negative opinion of hl2, why are you posting...

Before i purchase Half life 2 though steam tomorow(upgrade ATI cupon to gold), I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with security of credit card numbers when buying games over steam. Its just that after all of the problems with steam, im not sure how secure it is with sensative...

Perhaps Valve is just preloading something that wont ruin the game (very much). Then a week later, if is hacked, they will have to beef up their encryption before releasing sounds or something which spoils the game more easily, but if it is not hacked then they can feel safe about releasing the...

If you are using the arrow keys in half life or a mod, try copying the part of the config file from that mod that has the arrow keys in to the counter strike config file. To simplify, if you were using the arrow keys in half life, you would go to your steam/steamapps/account name/half life/...

1st create a shortcut to css beta by right click on it in browse games. right click on the shortcut and go to properties where it says something like 'C:\Games\Steam\Steam.exe -applaunch 260 ' add ' - dx 9' to the end <no quotes>
