Ya that's right. The 9800 PRO 128 has been slowly falling in price due to the release of the 9800 PRO 256 and then 9800 XT. Hopefully it'll fall even further due to the new X800.
If you're getting a 64-bit CPU it would probably be worth it to spend your money on a 64-bit OS. But then again if you need an OS right away, then just grab XP Home OEM for cheap.
Do you have a 64-bit CPU (ala Athlon 64) or plan on getting one anytime before Microsoft's next OS (Longhorn), because if not then don't bother with WinXP 64.

I agree. Canon has a lot of experience in the camera biz and it shows. The A70 has been replaced with the A75 now, but should be around the same price. The biggest advantage it has is a larger LCD. Canon's Elph series are awesome too if you're looking for a compact camera.
