Houndeyes, bullsquids, alien grunts, gargs, and alien controllers which are part of the HL universe and haven't been seen since HL1 eat your comment then poop it back out and serve it steaming hot back to you with a breath mint on the side. :cheese:
I admit I am holding out mainly because I am limited on cash funds for games right now and L4D is taking priority over FO3.
But I will say is other gamer friends of mine who bought FO3 love this game and are playing it for hours on end.
I posted in a thread about this elsewhere.
I think it would be cool to do a survivor model replacement using characters from other "zombie" movies.
Will Smith from "I am Legend"
Mila Jovovich from "Resident Evil"
Bruce Campbell from "Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness"
Simon Pegg from "Shaun...
Hence the consumer anticipation about this game. :) If it were a post about Peggle Nights menu people would be asking what hl2.net is smoking. But since this is L4D, a lot of people get whatever bits of info they can.
Interesting about the film grain setting, I am still undecided about it...
I wonder if by ambitious, Valve is going to put in the AI director from L4D into the single player aspect of Episode 3 so it will be the first Half life game that doesn't play exactly the same everytime you play it. ;)
All I can say is if Valve charged $50 for TF2 by itself it would have been worth it (but I sure would have complained about the price though lol) but even so I have put in 280 hours on TF2. At $50 that would come out to less than .003 cents per minute. Not too shabby.
I think Valve is...
Anyone else see a Left4Dead movie within the next 5 years?
Also, the new characters look great. I don't even remember what the original ones looked like.
Well, its a bummer to hear, but Valves gotta do what Valves gotta do. Besides a large base of TF2 players that I play with regularly are excited and plan on playing L4D so assuming L4D needs as many updates the first couple of months after release that TF2 received, then Valve is making the...
$10 million is a lot. They would have to sell 333,333 copies at $30 a piece just to cover advertising alone. Not including labor for developement, ect.
How many freakin games do they sell? LOL
Stalker - Shadow of Chernobyl - getting killed and going back to your last save but when you spawn there are 10 enemies standing around you (that not there when you originally saved) and kill you in 2 seconds forcing to go back to an even older save and replay sections of the game you already...
That is human nature. You being gamer should easily be able to see it in NVIDIA vs ATI fanboys, Intel vs AMD, Halo vs Half Life, what one groups accusses another they excuse for themselves.
You see it in politics, in music, bascially anywhere there are humans.
Hopefully both games will be great. But as far as the dev's presenting their case, I am more intersted in Far Cry 2 at the moment. And being on a budget, that means that will be the one I buy first. With L4D the following month, there is no telling when I will get around to Fallout 3.
Guilty until proven innocent. Good thing you aren't cops or he would already have been tasered and beaten and Cpt Sern would be making a thread about your brutality. lol
Good thing is Valve has been on a roll with releases lately. OB came out without much delay and the TF2 class packs have been rolling out faster than I expected at least.
