I wouldn't go more than 7 years either way, personally, 5. 10 is too much for me. It depends on the age group. After 30, it really doesn't matter as long as age difference is 0-5, or at extremes, 6 or 7. Because at 18, you probably don't wanna go lower than 15. I still prefer 0-1 year...
